Pastor Richard C. Klein, Jr.

Pastor Richard (Dick), C. Klein, Jr. is a native of Columbus, Ohio, where his family still live. Dick is a single parent with a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Angie.
Dick attended school in Columbus, Ohio and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Ohio State University. His seminary word was at Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, New Jersey, where he received his Masters of Divinity Degree.
Dick has served the Calvary United Presbyterian Church, Indiana, Pa. as a student intern; the Elfinwild United Presbyterian Church, Glenshaw Pa. as Assistant Pastor; the Conway United Presbyterian Church Conway, Pa. as Pastor; and the New Salem United Presbyterian Church, Ohioville, Pa. as Stated Supply.
Dick is a lifelong Christian, having been raised in the Church by his parents and many faithful Christians. As a result of his faith and commitment, Dick responded to God’s call to ministry, studied for the Ministry of Word and Sacrament, and was ordained in 1981.
Dick was installed as Pastor of Rehoboth , February 14. 1988. He is active in the community as well as serving his Church. He is active in the Belle Vernon Area Ministerium, the Mid Mon Valley Presbyterian Association, Director of the Foodbank, and chair of the Committee on Ministry, for Redstone Presbytery.
During Dick’s pastorate Rehoboth has grown in numbers as well as in leadership . We sponsor a Vacation Bible School, each summer in which we write our own curriculum. We are a mission minded church supporting many causes and missions. We enjoy each other’s company and meet often to fellowship and celebrate.
